Polymer clay is a new craft for me. I got "hooked" on polymer clay in October of 2005 while recovering from a broken leg...courtesy of a big spook by my Appaloosa horse. I have managed to ride for 25 years without a major fall so I guess those odds aren't too bad! Well, 15 weeks of inactivity are enough to drive anyone crazy so luckily I got interested in polymer clay. It kept me occupied and I even manage to make some profit off this very enjoyable hobby (of course the horses "eat" all of the profits!). I am lucky enough to have my clay crafts on display at Gustonian Gifts in Williamsport, PA and Tait Farms in State College, PA.

I have a new Etsy store(CraftCorral) and a website (http://www.myclayart.com). As you can see from the photos on my website, all of my children are of the 4-legged variety...Skyler, Trapper, Ben, and Murphi. Murphi the cat is queen of our domain and the rest of the critters are allowed to share her space. We all live, along with my husband John, in a small village called Tamarack in northern Clinton County. In 2001 we built a beautiful log cabin on property that is surrounded by Sproul State Forest. My horseback riding opportunities are endless - which is a dream come true! That is me on the zebra...I'll let you think about that one for a while!

If you ever have the chance to visit northcentral Pennsylvania ( "PA Wilds"), you will be amazed at the beauty of this vastly forested region. In fact, National Geographic Traveller recently published an article featuring this area! I highly recommend staying at the Kettle Creek Lodge (www.kettlecreeklodge.com) where you can have nearby access for horseback riding, snowmobiling, ATVs, endless hiking, and fabulous flyfishing opportunities!
