  "This is a long overdue Thank You and and testament of what a great help and friend Nick is as well as a spectacular photographer!
  I was sitting on the bank of a creek tonight taking some shots,changing settings as the sun was also changing. I realized how quickly I was doing that and actually understanding what I was doing! I know that may sound silly but it made me think of Nick and how he ALWAYS was telling me to learn how to shoot in MANUAL! Nick was the first person I encountered in Flickr and if it wasn't for his help in teaching me how to use my camera and listening to my questions over and over and patiently answering them..I'd be sitting on that bank probably trying to figure out my settings still! Thanks to Nick I left "auto" alone..as much as I wanted SO much to use it...and shot in manual mode. So, Thank You Nick for reminding me all that time!!! I have learned SO much from you and will forever be in your debt...and next year I look forward to meeting you at the Tulip festival because I plan on going now that I know how to use my camera!
  I know I don't make it in here as much as I used to, but I always look you up first when I do to keep up with your fantastic work, I still continue to learn from you and I know I always will :-)
