Here I stand. I could do no other.
I'm a rank amateur, but I love taking pictures. I find myself constantly looking at the world as though I'm peering through a camera lens.
I first came to Missouri in 1991 when I attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, near Rolla. I vowed that if I ever had a choice, I would never set foot back in this state again.
Well, when 2003 rolled around and it was time for me to leave the Army, Missouri came a knocking; with opportunity in tow. So, I moved to the outskirts of St. Louis (In St. Charles County) and began my new life. It took a few years, but I slowly began to realize the beauty, history and culture Missouri has to offer.
Now, I'm always out exploring my new home state whenever I get a free moment. It's a great place to live. It's also a great place to take pictures!
