Was invited to join Flickr in February 2008, and am forever grateful for this creative opportunity where we can share our lives with each other in photos...it is in this way we all truly become One.
I continue to be in awe of the amazing talent of Flickr Friends, and have learned so much about myself doing a 365 project...it really opens parts of person we either forgot existed or just plain didn't want to remember.
Encouraging comments from fellow Flickrites helps one know that even though we come from different places on this earth and may be of different ages, we are not really all that different from each other. Being accepting of posted serious shots, goofy pics, scenery or whatever move us, frees the creative side that has been asleep in us for way too long.
My husband and I are owned by four rescue Gordon Setters and one rescue cat.....many of my picture are of these fur children and of the many plants, flowers and wildlife around our home.
Use one of two Nikon cameras: D90 (traded up from D70) or Coolpix P5100. Am an amateur with a lens or two, and enjoy the challenge of photography.....thank goodness for digital and the ability to hit the delete key.
Enjoy my shots, but please do not copy or take them without permission. Comment if you feel moved - constructive words of wisdom are welcome as well as compliments if you feel they are deserved. If you have no photos to share, or if you are looking for porn, sorry, but I may choose to block you.

"My testimonial will never do justice to the amazing photographer and a close friend that is Diane. Her work is astounding and so much can be interpreted from her work. Even if some photos are of regular scenes, they still attract one's attention.
I must say that she's a very beautiful person as well- a beautiful soul and a beautiful looking person, and because of this, I find her self portraits my favourites from her photostream. Whether she is having coffee, or looking out of the window, or sitting down, there is so much depth in it and is not a random, quick self portrait that many photographers do.
What I really appreciate about her is that she always makes it a point to comment on her friends' photos. To me, her comments have always been encouraging and motivating and I look forward to hearing her feedback and comments everytime I upload a photograph....
