Just another photo enthusiast in Houston. I love taking pictures of everything but have been focusing more on glamor and fashion and have been quietly building a nice arsenal of lighting gear. Of course I'll always love taking my cameras to different events around town or an occasional roadtrip.

Currently I shoot with a Nikon D90 and several goodies - flashes, lenses, boxes, and other things. I have a couple of Alien Bees studio lights too.

As a rule I try to leave my EXIF info in tact in case someone else wants to deconstruct my pictures. I'm not crazy about the new flickr because it makes stealing pictures easier but I still would love someone else starting in photography to be able to gain something by looking at my picture the way I do from others so I won't stop posting the EXIF info.

If you'd like to use one of my pictures, please email me on here or on twitter. Normally, I limit downloads to people on my contact list but can give you access if you email me. If you're just using it for a school project or something or if it's a picture of you for personal use, I'd probably be ok with it being used. If it's for a publication or something then we might be able to work something out, but my pictures are my babies and I would sleep better knowing where they are so please ask.

I also love meeting new photographers in Houston, (now Austin as well lol), or other places so let me know about events that are going on! The Assignment Houston group has a lot of fun gatherings.

PS, there are many many more pictures on my Flickr but as I have let my Pro account expire, they are hidden for the time being. I still have a link to a few of my favorite older pictures on my photo blog below, but I am still deciding whether I should renew my Pro account on here since I am not very happy with the direction Flickr has been going lately and how they're treating their members.

Lens list...as you can see I'm kind of bare bones at the moment. The tragedy in Japan caused an instant price hike in high end lenses so my upgrades are on hold for a while. Still, even though my current selection is limited, it covers a very good area for me unless it's something that requires rapid zooming in which case I'm SOL.

Nikon Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 (I could just stare at this lens all day...it is just a thing of engineering beauty. Wow.)
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D Accidentally dropped the lens on a hill and it rolled down into a bayou...
Nikon 85mm f/1.8D (love this lens for portraits)
Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 VR - Don't use this much but nice to have for certain work.
Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 HSM Macro (the last of my DX lenses)
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 Nikon mount (it was a fun lens but I needed something a bit sharper and future proof)
Nikkor 80-200 AF-D. The new workhorse.

Walkaround lens:
24-85mm f/3.5-4.5

Side note, I noticed a few pictures that I supposedly favorited that I know for a fact I didn't favorite...My guess is the star was hit accidentally.
