Lack of controls on the arms trade is fueling conflict, poverty and human rights abuses worldwide. The Control Arms campaign is asking governments to toughen up controls on the arms trade.

In 2006, Control Arms campaign supporters like you helped to get the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) on the UN agenda. Since then, the US has voted against it twice.

It's time to ask US President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to support an effective Arms Trade Treaty now.

With President Obama in the White House, there is the potential for a new approach to American foreign policy. He has already said he supports a nuclear free world and an inter-American treaty on firearms trafficking. The Global Week of Action is an opportunity for Obama to hear your voice and support an ATT.

Visit www.controlarms.org to take action now – The world can’t wait!

It's time to make history again.
