Founded in 1959, The Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham is best known for making grants and leading special initiatives to transform the five-county area around greater Birmingham. We also work with individuals, families, businesses and their professional advisors to assist with flexible giving options. And we help area nonprofit organizations serve their donors through gifts of charitable gift annuities, real estate and other hard-to-value assets.
