"Well, it's about time I did this. 'Cause, I mean, I've recently come to know Amanda better than I know just about anyone else on Flickr, and, well - she's a right delight. Truly. So, I'm rather sorry not to have scribbled here sooner. Don't make the same mistake I made! Just talk to Amanda, and write her lovely things.
There's something of a documentary style to Amanda's pictures that I totally adore - she observes all the little details that pass us all by, and brings them to the fore just so very beautifully. And I, I... actually, screw it - I know that these testimonials are meant to be detached, but this just feels too impersonal. So, well, I'd really love to slip clumsily into a way more direct approach :) Anyway, yes, you really do have this photography lark rather freaking down, Amanda. How I envy your style and flare. Just about every picture on your stream seems at once too perfect to be entirely natural, and at the same time, perfectly natural. It makes my heap spin, but in the very best of ways. So yeah, I guess the long and short of this ramble is this - your pictures really sing, and you seem rather darned dandy.
