I love a mystery. As a creative person I strive to understand our universe and how we fit into it. Hopefully I'll never completely figure it all out because then life would loose it's amazing spark. Solve the mystery––end the story. I want to live the story. I love art, filmmaking, photography, painting, art history, nature, urban energy, world cultures, Human form, Philosophy, organic food, and so on. My flaw is having more ideas for projects than I have time to create them.

In 2010 I shifted to fully digital work flow, acquiring a Canon 5d Mk II and changing the way I work. For example in landscape work, I will sometimes shoot as many as twenty images to cover one 'vision' of a location or place. I've also added lightroom to my workflow, using it to make adjustments upstream of final finishing in photoshop

When not shooting with the 5d mk II, I'm usually using a Hasselblad 205fc which has the internal zone meter I love

In the studio, for still life, I'm shooting with a 4x5 view camera and either film or a digital scanning back by betterlight.

Printing now with Epson 9900

Also experimenting printing on Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper with the intention of mixing prints in collage process for final display.
