Now, let's talk about me:

I love nature. I love the sea. Looking at the rate of deforestation and degradation of marine habitats in Malaysia and around the world, I'm deeply concerned about our future - will our present and next generations ever get to see a Dugong, a Sumatran Rhinoceros, and other wildlife or plants that are near to extinction?

I love meeting people. I'm also very interested in indigenous peoples' cultures. I guess the interest started when I was in my first job with the Semelai Orang Asli (indigenous people) at Tasek Bera (or Lake Bera), Malaysia's first Wetlands of International Importance (or better known as RAMSAR) site.

In my photostream, you'll NOT see photographs of my family or friends, or myself. I put those on social networking sites. I share only photographs of nature and of interesting people/cultures (Note: Most of the photogaphs of people are made private, as in only friends and family can view. This is to protect the privacy of the people in the photographs). If you have added me and if I think you are a nice person, I'll add you as a friend. If you find that we have the same passion/interest, feel free to add me.

My life motto is: Take care and appreciate the gifts God bestows on us, so that we fear not these gifts be taken away from us one day.

All photos were taken by me unless indicated otherwise. Most of the photos were taken using my very own point-and-shoot cameras Canon 570 IS and Kodak CX7430 Zoom (my very first one). Underwater photos were taken with Olympus 790sw. Despite not having a SLR camera, I try my best to take photos from best angle possible and good lighting exposure.
