My Dad used to love photography but I was always too impatient to have to deal with all the developing, chemicals, send off the film, stuff. I bought myself a digital camera and I started dabbling - then I got a wife on a horse and had to buy a proper camera...
Almost all the photos here are taken by me (except for a couple of the ones of me) - I have to say that I think people who post lots of stuff taken by other folks are missing the point - but that's just my opinion.
I'm not sure what I want to achieve - other than to eventually take some great photos - and I am seriously intimidated by some of the talent demonstrated on Flickr, but I'm here to learn. So please let me know if you think something is good or crap - and why. Ok?
