I've was hit with the photography bug a little later than most and jumped on the digital bandwagon. I appreciate traditional film photography but don't have the patience for it any more - I'd rather be taking pictures than wrestling with photochemical baths, that's the reality of it.

A good selection of my photography has been taken while traveling - in Europe and a year long backpacking trip aptly named Our Way Round.

I like to be engaged with my subject if at all possible, and make sure I still enjoy the place and the people vs. always looking at it through a lens. I believe this enhances my observation and experience.
