Sendai is merely my current base camp; I've planted roots in Yamagata as well as Hiroshima over the last four years of living in this country. Will be on my way back to Canada... one day. Stuck in Japanese culture up to my ears and loving it. Am slowly finding inspiration in digital photography, but is broken up with playing music and enjoying the outdoors. Wandering ahead with not much of a concrete destination in mind--but enjoying the twists and turns all the same--has been a theme to my post-university life.

I'm currently working on a cross-Japan project covering the nation's music scene - from the local to the major. Half of it is a documentary-in-the-making, the other half is comprised of individual reports on musicians and their lives. Check the blog out, as well as the official project on SPINearth.tv
