I'm a coffee addict and an ex-figure skater. Thus...Coffee On Ice.

My current toy is Snappy, my new/old Canon 20D (I'm a college student so I'm not exactly springing for a brand new camera) who recently acquired a 20-80 lens. Sidelined are my Holga 120D Camo, a Wonderland Mini Diana+, and a Canon EOS Elan that my uncle was actually going to THROW AWAY along with a bag full of lenses, filters, and a flash. I like to think I saved little Elan there.

Unfortunately, my Powershot, Crap Bag, passed away over the summer after three years of service. He is survived by a Nermal, my new Nikon CoolPix. Niko the Nikon, my faithful SLR who travelled with me to three continents, passed away recently due to aperture illness. He will be missed.

I like to name my appliances. I feel it makes them loyal to me so they live longer. I swear I'm only a tiny bit crazy.

I'll cop to using Photoshop (CS5) and Lightroom but I'm not proud of it. I think there's something inherently evil in editing photos. It's like dying a cat's fur pink. Sure, it looks cool, but it wasn't supposed to be that way. And no, I've never dyed my cat's fur, just tortured her with endless photos.
