  I have managed in my short 8 months on Flickr to allign myself with the BEST OF THE BEST as far as people go. Joe (Cody2009) is one of my closest Flickr friends. I feel SO LUCKY to have stumbled upon one of his many Christmas Ornament posts (many moons ago now it seems) and then have him reciprocate on my photostream.
  
  Could it really be??? Someone with a twisted sense of humor like me, who is just as passionate about his collections as I am??? It goes WAY BEYOND that...I feel a kinship, a connection, a special bond with this person. My only regret, is I wish we lived closer (too!)

  "One night I was checking out Flickr and I typed in vintage Halloween under search.. being new at Flickr, I didn't know what would pop up.
  All of a sudden I see this wonderful man..MR Holiday..Joe.. with piercing blue eyes and a collection of everything awesome.. I looked at it for hours..Then I saw his photo of his tinsel Christmas tree and my eyes swelled up with wonderful memories..:)..I didnt know such kind sparkly hearts existed on flickr...you always brighten my day and so many others I know.. you just make me smile..:) Sending oodles of hugs and smiles and love to you sweet Joe..now let's party!   "I dont know how I came across Joe's photostream, but Oh Boy, am I glad I did. He has a fabulous collection of vintage holiday decorations, from just about every holiday there is, and it seems they are mostly family heirlooms, so there is a great story to go along with them. I love taking a peek inside his home at all the wonderful collections he has, and look forward to seeing what else is going to dig up in that attic of his!! And I bet it we lived near each other we could be great Yardsale Buddies (although it might get competitive)!"
