I'm married, verging (actually, let's forget the verging bit) on middle-aged, with one daughter half-way through university and the other safely out the other side and in gainful employment as a lawyer. My wife is a school teacher and we have a couple of Burmese cats and Welsh Springer Spaniel dogs progressively wrecking our home. I have an unhealthy interest in anything geeky, and light relief from the former is provided in the form of photography, meteorology, occasional hill walking, even more occasional tennis and other semi-energetic pursuits.
