I am a keen amateur photographer, and since getting my first DSLR a couple of years ago (Canon 450D), I have upped the pace a bit ad now take photos almost wherever I go! On occasions when a DSLR is impractical I take my Canon S95 which fits nicely in my pocket but still produces an excellent photo. My favourite subjects are: landscapes, cityscapes, trees, architecture, unusual textures, reflections and rock!

Recently, I've been bitten by the black & white bug. I discovered what everyone else already knows - that monochrome can focus the eye on line and texture like nothing else; one is no longer distracted by colour. Of course, this makes it especially good for architecture, but also for natural landscapes which have rich textures. So watch out for new pics in my Monochrome set.
