I have worked as a TV studio camera man and college newspaper photographer. I have B&W darkroom experience developing film and prints starting in 1969. I used the basic box camera as a 12 year old and the 35mm Single Lens Reflex (SLR) and 120mm Twin Lens Reflex cameras in college.
The purchase of the Nikon D40 is the first SLR camera I have owned in about 35years. It feels good to have some good equipment in my hands again.
