I love to record life, one picture or video at a time. You will also find occasional and sometimes daily video updates on here. I do my best to work around the 90 second rule. My Flickr account is a miniature preservation of my life.

On my account you will also find a picture of all 120 state parks in Pennsylvania.

I'm generally nice and I will comment back on your pictures if you comment on mine. Sometimes I don't, but that's no biggie. Lots of people don't comment back on my work. I don't think of myself as an amazing photographer, just someone who knows the basics and thinks about important stuff like lighting once every 25 pictures. I also don't follow many other classic photo rules, like that one about thirds.

My backup/video camera is my Canon Powershot S5 IS. I started out loving the Powershot S series, but trust me, get a DSLR.

I also have a Nikon EM and a Nikon N65, but they are old film cameras and get very little use.



Current Projects
1. To photograph my daughter, Ralena, every day during the first year of her life.

Projects On Hold/Canceled
1. To take a picture of every porch in Aspinwall.
2. 365 - Year 3

Completed Projects
1. Visit (and photograph) every state park (120 total) in Pennsylvania in one single Summer. I did it!
2. 365 - Year 1 - Gave up after 80 pictures, but a good first try.
3. 365 - Year 2 - 352 pictures taken, success!
