Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy is a non-profit organization that works with landowners to create a regional network of permanently protected farms, forests, parks, and natural land. CMLC has protected over 12,300 acres of land since 1994 through the use of voluntary land conservation agreements, land donations, and purchases.
