Cedar Mill Community Library (including its Bethany Branch) is part of WCCLS: Washington County Cooperative Library Services. The Cedar Mill Community Library was founded in 1974 by community volunteers as a non-profit public library. The library relies on the efforts of more than 650 volunteers and 63 paid staff members to provide free library service 7 days a week.

Located outside city boundaries, the library is operated by the Cedar Mill Community Library Association. The Cedar Mill Community Library is the largest 501(c)(3)non-profit public library west of the Mississippi. Circulating more than 1.7 million items each year, Cedar Mill ranks 6th for highest circulation of any library in Oregon, and 2nd in children's materials.

We also help out over at L-Net - Oregon's Library Network, our statewide virtual reference service. Contact a local librarian through chat or e-mail anytime.
