A Londoner in exile! I was brought up in west London - Heston/Hounslow area (my mother's mother's family is one of the three oldest of Heston) but moved to Ilminster in Somerset in June 1984, having got to know the area well from frequent holidays.

I have a passion for transport, particularly (older) buses, but trains and railways, cars and roads, aircraft and canals too. I am fascinated by buildings and industrial architecture, fully appreciate the beautiful landscape of the UK and love travelling around the country.

All photographs on my profile are my own work. I haven't reproduced any photos from other sources, so PLEASE respect my copyright. However, if you message me I'm sure to give permission for reproduction elsewhere.
