Ok, so here's me holding myself in a ball :-).

My interest in photography started in early 2008 when I witnessed what a DSLR can do. A few of my friends owned one and during that time I also created an account on flickr so that I can share photos of my daughter online. My co-worker's sister also had a flickr account and she kind of introduced me to the flickr community. It quickly inspired me and I was hooked since then.

As of early 2011 my subject varies widely, basically I shoot whatever is interesting to me that day or that week. My flickr contacts and the flickr community has a huge influence on this because this is where I usually get my inspiration. In general I love long exposures, macros and shooting wide open. I also do some event photography as part of challenging myself and getting out of the norm but I'll see how that pans out. One thing I haven't tried that interests me is fashion photography. I really want to try it someday.

My philosophy about photography is simple, make the final image the best possible by using all the tools you can. In short I'm not a purist. I use my camera's features, PP techniques and imaging tools to produce what ever I think is pleasing to my eyes.

Photography is also my form of connecting myself to my surroundings whether it's with people, nature or whatever. It is also a great stress reliever for me.
