I'm an independent journalist/producer; I love photography. I am the publisher and editor of Puerto Rico Sun Communications, an independent community-minded multimedia social entrepreneurship aimed at informing, empowering and building community. PRSUN publishes Puerto Rico Sun, a cultural news and photoblog at prsun.blogspot.com and Bronx Latino, a lifestyle blog at bronxlatino.blogspot.com.

I belong to the Freelancers Union and am the administrator of the new Puerto Rican Photographic Society, NYC Collective.

From my artist statement: I take photos as an extension of what my eyes and mind sees. I enjoy landscapes, urban, street photography, black and white, nature, photojournalism, architecture, animal portraits...I enjoy photos that tell stories. Documenting everyday life through photography makes me see everyday things that I may have otherwise taken for granted. I exhibit my work largely online.

At Flickr, I administer the Puerto Rico Sun, PRSUN Video, Bronx Latino, The Bronx, The Bronx Video and Traveling to Work groups. I co-administer NYC Exposition, The Puerto Rican Photographic Society, !Boricuas!, Green is Beautiful, Sunrise, Sunset --Anything Sun!, Perros - Dogs, and Cinematic Moments.

*Some of my photos are part of a group Bronx-themed mural at the new Applebees restaurants in the Bronx: at 1 Fordham Plaza and at the new Gateway mall at Exterior Street.

NEW: Some of my photos are part of a Pre-Holiday Art Sale and Exhibit, a group show organized by Blanka Amezkua, at the Bronx Blue Bedroom Project in the Bronx during November. On Nov. 4th, riders of the Bronx Culture Trolley will be making a stop at the Bronx Blue Bedroom. There will be an opening reception on Nov. 7th and the show runs until the end of the month.
