Clandestine Photography's photostream |
My primary cameras are both Canon - I use the Rebel Ti for film and the 40D for digital projects. My photography initially focused on architecture and documenting abandoned houses. Not long after, I began doing portraits, then band photography, and then dove into wedding photography. I am passionate about my subjects and my art is constantly growing and expanding.
My photography has earned multiple awards in the years that I have pursued it. In 2007 I won a Silver Key through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for my photograph of the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Through the Fine Arts Festival I have received superior recognition for excellence in both digital and traditional (film) photography in 2008 and 2009. In 2009 I was awarded 1st Place Overall Photography Exhibit in an annual art show for my display titled "Perspective". I then received my high school's photography award as a graduating senior for my growth and performance as a photographer in my classes.
Though it is neither the gear nor the education that makes an individual a better artist, I successfully completed 3 years of photography classes, and have worked with both film and digital cameras over the years. I plan to continue studying photography throughout college and surely longer, through workshops and collaborations.
I have been hired for band photography as well as weddings and can provide references and pricing upon request.
