As you can see from my Flickr pages, I take pictures :) Literally. I enjoy photography but have no desire to be professional; I'm content with my skills as they are. I enjoy Flickr not only for the photography but for the social aspect; I've met so many really great people from all over the world that I would never have been able to meet without Flickr and a digital camera :)

And I have to say that my contacts are some of the best photographers on Flickr!!! :)

    M-O-O-N that spells ... says:

"The first time I bumped into Cathy was when she had just found Gus and was deciding on whether to adopt him and what to call him. I just fell in love with the little fella and loved the name Gus.

We started chatting about our love of cats and photography and a friendship blossomed. Cathy even tried to match-make her daughter with my son - logistics a bit hard between the US and Australia - lol.

I have fallen in love with Cathy's family both furry and the not so furry - hi Addie. I love seeing the daily antics of Cathy's furry babies. They are so well loved and full of character. Would you expect any less of Cathy's brood?

Cathy has grown into a wonderful friend. She has been there for me over the past year thru some tough times with real down to earth, practical honest advice - and non-judgemental friendship. A rare gem.

I am enjoying seeing Cathy's hometown Albuquerque (gosh I hope I spelt that right) thru Cathy's eyes. She has a great eye for the little details and constantly surprises me with her photos. I am seeing the quirky and unusual as well as the wonderful city it is. I have enjoyed this so much.

She is a risk taker, going in deliberately taking photos (I think) hoping to get caught out - and often does.

Cathy has such a wicked sense of humour. She makes me laugh constantly.

I am enjoying our photographic journey together as we both grow and learn - and most of all have loads of fun."

bikertazza - not available for a few days... says:

"Cathy was one of the very first people I met on Flickr, and I'm so glad it happened that way. She is always so positive with her comments, and I love it when she visits me on my Photostream. Her photos are usually great fun (with the odd serious one in there!) and I particularly love those of her adorable cats. The compassion she shows to all of her 'critters' is totally admirable, and I honestly don't know how she manages to stay so upbeat all the time with such a busy lifestyle. Thank you Cathy, it's a pleasure to know you!"

"Well, I'm honoured to be the first "testimonial" so I decide to write part in english and part in my language.
Kathy is a very wonderful person and with a great family too !!!
E' bello conoscere "belle" persone che vivono così lontane ed allo stesso tempo sentirsi così vicini, grazie per i tuoi commenti e per la tua simpatia !!!"
