Located in the Gorbals area of Glasgow, the Citizens Theatre is headed up by two Joint Artistic Directors, Jeremy Raison and Guy Hollands. Internationally reputed for its repertoire the Citizens is one of the few self-producing houses in Scotland. By also inviting a diverse range of touring work into the theatre, the aim is to offer a powerful mix of productions that seal the Citizens reputation as the place to see theatre in Glasgow.

The Citizens has two non-professional acting companies: The Citizens Community Company and Young Co.. We also offer a diverse range of educational activity through the Citizens Learning & TAG department.

TAG Theatre Company is part of the Citizens' Theatre and represents the company's work for children and young people.
