I am an IT professional, writer, graphic artist and photographer. I am in the habit of developing passionate stories about the people, structures, geography and lifestyle of southern California-- where I live with my wife and children. I specialize in environmental portraits, urban still life, classic (or just quirky) cars, social documentary and photojournalism.

I was born in Wisconsin, but also lived in Kansas and South Florida before moving out west to attend the CalArts as a film major (as well as the photography program at COC). All that moving around has allowed me to appreciate many different landscapes, types of people and ways of living.

I like to think that I bring all of that history with me every time I go out to take a photo or write a story, and I hope those who see my work can find some piece of their own past or present in common with what I've given them. I am available for freelance and consultative work in the L.A metropolitan area, and abroad.
