German/Australian, I have been living in Singapore for the past 7 years and lived for 2 fantastic years in Japan prior to that. So please don't be afraid to leave comments in English, German or Japanese!

I have been interested in photography for many years, but have only recently had the money to fund such a previously expensive hobby. Thank goodness for digital! Capturing still, silent moments of the world around me (particularly the natural world) has always intrigued me greatly, and it is something I personally never find myself tiring of. I strongly believe that a photographers connection with his obsession changes the way he looks at the world, and bestows upon him a sense of wonder at what he sees around him.

I love travelling and have spent spent much of my life living overseas as an expatriate in Germany, Japan, New Zealand and Singapore. A chance to actually live overseas as a local is one not to be missed! :)
