I've found myself back at a SLR after all these years of trying to go small and light. The birth of a child is a hell of a motivator to finally purchase an SLR and I settled on a Canon 50D. I'm keeping the G9 in my pack but it feels good to have a solid camera in the hands again.
I have the kit zoom with the 50D but I've been using the 50mm 1.8 II prime mostly. I'm hoping to get more gear soon. For now, it's time to get more pictures....
