I believe in natural explanations for what we see and experience. I believe that things become more interesting as we learn more about them.
I'm involved with several clubs and organizations; NSS (59794), TCS - of which I am the new Meeting Director, and the I am the chair of our local caving club, the Upper Cumberland Grotto.
Aside from photography, I also draw, make computer graphics, web pages, and maps.
I enjoy taking pictures in places that are difficult to get to, like a cave or a wilderness trail, miles from civilization. I find the challenge of getting there, and the technical aspects of shooting very satisfying.
