Hi!
I've been interested in photgraphy on and off for a while. I took a photo class in college...but kinda got discouraged with the instructor....not the most confidence boosting teacher. My dad taught photography for several years as a junior high teacher when I was very young. We even had a half completed dark room in our garage from when the program got cancelled. After that happened he wasn't quite as interested in photography and has only become truly interested again in the last few years. Sometimes I wonder where I'd be with photos if I'd grown up around the photo lab, etc. at his school.

I've known about flikr for a while and just kind of flitted around in it looking at other's photos. Then finally one day I realized...dummy...start uploading your own. All I have is a basic digital Samsung S730, point and shoot, I believe. It has close up....not sure if it would really be considered macro...but I make do. I love macro! Someday, in my dreams, I want to get a DLSR but that's way off. Recently I've thought about taking another photo class....for fun, not schooling this time. Update.....my father gave me his old Cannon Rebel XT...so now I have a DLSR! Gulp! That means I have to learn how to use it. Hmmm...now to really start getting more serious!
