Hi,My name is Christophe, although people tend to call me Chris.
I was born in Belgium and lived there until my 30th birthday. Then I moved to Asturias, one of the most beautiful regions of Spain.

I started taking pictures when I was about 16 years old, with my dad's Canon AV-1. I learned a lot about photography experimenting with that camera and reading books about photography.
When the digital era began and it became cheaper and easier to make pictures, I started taking more pictures again, especially after I moved to Asturias, a beautiful natural region in Spain.

I enjoy watching and trying to make beautiful pictures, and try to experiment and learn digital photography, photoshop postprocessing and new techniques like HDR.
My latest camera is a Canon Powershot S3 IS, that I mainly bought for the 12x optical zoom and SLR-like handling. My budget doesn't allow an SLR just yet.
I regret not having all the time that I would like to have to get out and shoot more pictures.
