I'm 35 years old and look after peoples animals for a living, so expect lots of animal shots from me! I love being outside and really appreciate the beauty of nature. I enjoy taking photos of what I see and the silly things that dogs and cats get up to. I have joined the photo 365 group to encourage me to take my camera with me every day. Hopefully my camera skills will improve and I will get a few nice shots.

That's the reason I originally joined Flickr. Since then, my boyfriend, soul mate and purpose for being died in a kayaking accident that we were both involved in. We were actually kayaking to take photos of seals, but the weather and waves had other ideas. I restarted the 365 project as a tribute to Simon and to help me along my journey without him. My photos have changed somewhat from dogs and cats that make me laugh to deeper, more meaningful subjects and I'm trying to improve myself, be more open and make friends with photoshop!

I have explained this for anyone who sees mentions of Simon and wonders what the heck I'm going on about!
