My name is Christina Edwards, but you can call me Chrissy. I am a professional photographer located in Ventura, California. I have had a growing interest in art ever since I was a child. I was always a very artistic kid and I took a lot of art classes, even through elementary school. When I was in fourth or fifth grade, I started taking a lot of pictures during family vacations and grew very fond of photography. I took my first photography class in 2004 (while I was in high school) and I knew at that moment that photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. After that first photography class, I took multiple photography courses at a local community college and then graduated from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara with my Bachelor of Arts in Professional Photography, majoring in Commercial Photography and Portraiture. I have prior work experience with three different portrait studios and have assisted many professional photographers with photo shoots. I have also recently done a photo internship with Playboy, am currently shooting for the website, Nerdy Girlz, and have had my work featured in multiple galleries as well as two different magazines. I have always been interested in music and horror movies, so I tend to move towards that subject matter with my portfolio. I would eventually like to own my own studio and work in the entertainment industry, preferably in Southern California.
