Alright, time to describe myself! I'm Christiaan, 19 year old and from a lovely place called Zwolle, Netherlands.

At the moment I'm studying International Business Studies and I'm in the third and pretty much the last bit of my study!

After the summer holiday in 2009 there is only a five month period of work experience left!

I bought my very first camera when I was about 15 years old, The only reason I bought it was because we were going on a holiday trip to Austria. The camera I bought was a Pentax optio s5z, And in the first place, I just used it to take snapshots and I didn't really care about all the technical stuff. But after a while I became more and more interested in photography and started to search for online forums, and taadaa, there was Flickr.

I think that was the moment the Photography virus infected me, and I couldn't resist myself any longer, I had to buy a DSLR.
So after saving up for a couple of months I was finally able to buy a 400D with the 17-85mm lens and the Battery grip!

In the summer of 2008 I bought myself a lenshood and a camera bag, Now im saving up for the 75-300mm USM IS lens!

You might have already seen that my dog is the most common victim for my first experimental photos!

Update: I didn't buy the 70-300mm. I bought the 430ex II and 50mm f/1.8 instead and I quite love that combination as well!

December 18 2008: Well, I'll probably never own a 70-300mm IS, I bought the 70-200mm f/2.8 L instead. And I can't say I reget it, such a great lens.
