ChrisT09 (sorry friends, lacking in flickr time)'s photostream

I thought it was about time I wrote something about me. I don't have aspirations of using photography as a profession or as a career. For a start I am not exactly of a calibre that that would allow me to do that anyway. For me it is a hobby. I find little as satisfying as finding something that catches my eye and makes me want to photograph it. I have no real field of expertise or a particular area that I concentrate on. I do however like action photography, landscapes and general life shots if I am pushed for a preference. I am not one for studio or particularly posed shots. This is not to say I don't like viewing that type of thing, Some of my favourite shots are portraits and studio style stuff. It is just something I am not really that interested in myself.
The worst thing I do with regard to photography is take most of my photographs at the worst time of the day. generally when the sun is high. This is due to the fact that I am too lazy to get out of bed too early and of an evening I am generally left with little time to get out and about after dealing with 2 young kids and sorting out for work the next day.

The one thing I hope to achieve with my photography is to look at something I have taken one day and think 'WOW !' I am not sure that will ever happen, but I shall not give up trying.
