Chris Parypa, 5.31.1982, Photographer, Graphic Designer, Artist... I was born in Poland, raised in Poland but learned life on Brooklyn, NY. I’m photographer who owes his small photography business and also work freelance. I work both color and black&white photography, after years of traditional studio, portrait, fashion, journalism, action and sport photography I discovered something new…. Aviation Photography and world of aviation, planes, wings, jet fighters, airliners, landings, takings off, vapor on the wings, heat from the engines and a lot of action…. Since 2008 my photography adventure turn into the Aviation World. I travel as much I can, as far I can to see Air Shows, Civilian Airports from the small ones like Ocean City OXB to the biggest in the world like JFK in New York, LAX in Los Angeles, I travel trying to spot rare or new planes, airliners, liveries, airlines, but most of my travels is looking for a great actions and demos of military planes. I’m proud member of NYCAviation where I met a lot of great people and totally aviation lovers. For question Why Planes you can always expect for me one answer: because they are big, fast and they fly... Aviation photography just kidnapped my photography soul, but I will never quit of portraiture, sport photography and for sure photo journalism. Huge inspiration for my work is my daughter Sarah Michelle and my wife Agnes but also New York City and whole surrounding area, I love work with my daughter in studio and I love sitting on Brooklyn Promenade and watch people and Manhattan skyline I’m freelancer photographer with not a lot of personal awards, I’m trying to not compete with other photographers but I’m trying to learn from the best, I believe there is plenty of time in photographers life for competitions but never enough time for improving technique and knowledge, for now I’m trying to not waste my time and I’m trying to gain as much skills as possible, work on my style, work on my technique, work on my self. I have a lot of publications on my account, in Newspapers, magazines, bigger, smaller, advertising campaigns and few more. I work for stock companies micro: iStock and Macro: Alamy I’m always ready to work for your newspaper/magazine, studio, your company… for you… weddings, events coverage, photo journalism, beach/modern/fashion/studio portraits.
