I took up photography in 2009 after having done nothing artistic since A level Art years ago and it's turned into a pretty serious hobby since then!

I started off with a Nikon setup (D50) which then got stolen out of my car, after that I moved across to Canon.
Here's the current gear list:
Canon EOS 400D.
Sigma 18-200mm DC OS.
Canon 35-80mm USM converted to 'macro mode'.
Canon Speedlite 430EXII w/ Stofen diffuser and cheap eBay triggers.
Several filters, most notably circular polariser, Cokin ND Grad and ND8.
Cheapo tripod or Joby Gorilla Pod SLR Zoom each fitted with Manfrotto mini ball head (484RC2).

I sometimes borrow bits and bobs off friends too, usually the Canon EF-S 10-22mm USM used in a lot of my landscape stuff along with a few extra filters.
Current major wishlist items are a Canon 10-22mm of my own and a couple of fast prime lenses (30 & 50mm)!

I don't think I've developed a consistent style yet as I like to experiment and have a go with everything but my main focuses are leaning towards landscape and macro. I like taking photos where there aren't any other people!

If you're looking at my photos then please don't just paste award codes without any comment. I would really prefer something constructive, that might help me improve.
