63 years old and still wondering what I'll be when I grow up.

I retired after working for the U.S. Navy (Active Duty and Civil Service) 42 years. Now I devote more time to my photography. I still have a large number of slides and negatives from my early photography days.

I fortunately have some 60 years worth of my Father's bw negatives and color slides. This represents the majority of his photographic career. Most of what I know about photography I learned from him. As I can I will scan these to share with the rest of the Flickr family.

Thanks to the Navy I lived in some pretty spectacular photograpic locations and exercised my photographic skills in - Anarctica, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, Scotland, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Canada, England plus the East and West Coasts of the US. Some day I might even be able to get it right.
