Hi, I'm Chris.

Born in June 1983 I started my first experience with photography in 1997 with a 20 year old SLR camera of my father.
In 2005 I began to work as a freelancer for the "Oberhessische Zeitung", a local newspaper. Here I still work for the cultural magazine "Auf dem Vulkan", which allows me to visit all kinds of concerts and music festivals as a journalist and to publish photos and reports.
More publications followed among others in 2007 for the Xynias, Wetzel Werbeagentur GmbH, Munich and in 2008 for the Kunst und Bild GmbH, Berlin. There were also published photos from live gigs of the band At Eaze, which I met in early 2008 and accompany to their shows since then.
Sometimes I shoot also concerts for the "Mainstage.de" music-mag for free.
If I don’t deal with music I deal with other kinds of photography like nature, portaiture and sports.
My personal highlight in the year 2010 was the mushroom series I took in fall.
In 2011 I’ll turn my focus on sports photography and portraiture projects.
I also made a coverage of Alsfeld's "flood of the century" in June 2011 with publications in German newspapers and magazines (online and print media) like Frankfurter Rundschau, FAZ, Focus, Stern etc. Some of these images were also purchased by the German Press Agency (dpa).
