I have taken the big step!!
For the last 6 months I have mostly used my 50mm lens on the 5D. I have loved it and my only problem is I do not take it out as much as I should because of its size.
So I did it!
I have a Leica M9


I am by no means a professional photographer, more of a not so gifted amateur who just loves taking photographs. My main ambition is to improve my skills behind the lens, not so much the technical stuff (still plenty of that to master) more the compositional side of the art.
What do I photograph? Almost anything, I can not say I have developed a style, but I am searching for one. Events in my community figure highly in my photostream and I have a tendancy towards documentary stuff (at the moment).

Who inspires me? HCB, James Ravilious, Walker Evans, Robert Frank….
