Hi, I'm Chip, but you knew that already.

I'm an award winning Photojournalist based in Columbia, S.C. Currently I'm working as an Online Producer for The State Newspaper.

I've been interested in photography since I was a child, and picked up my first camera when I was in college. Since then, my camera continues to take me on amazing journeys to witness things I wouldn't normally see.

After working at a newspaper, I decided to put down my camera professionally and pick up another one personally which has become so much more gratifying.

Currently, I'm interested in the future of photography and the future of location based software. I believe that the combination of both with help build a new storyline for our lives and show people places we've never seen before.
