Yes let me, as someone I know put it, talk about me.... "with palpable inaccurary as many of us love to"...
I have a sporadic addiction to Flickr. I work in I.T. currently, have a BFA in Theatre, survived a 4 years conservatory to achieve it, write and play music, wander aimlessly and talk pointedly (often not). I do not love lightly. Hummingbird shows me the way and I've Raven at my arm and Bear in my heart, always.
I'm shooting these days with Pentax DSLRs an 50mm F1.4 old Pentax-M that I love, and a heavenly 50-135mm zoom... I've recently scaled down and sold some gear but these are what I'm using mostly (the K10d is for sale actually - I'd love a backup but cannot afford one right now). I don't use flash, strobe, lighting of any kind except what is shining in the sky, reflecting off a surface, or ambient in some way. I'm just not interested in any other light source, though I tip my hat and bow low to those strobists that obtain ridiculous results from those pursuits. Minimal amount of gear, maximum amount of image... it's all I want. "I collect light."
