Chavala is Spanish slang for girl, as in "You go girl!" Example: "Oye, chavala!" translates as "Hey, grrrl!"
I am a Northwest-based artist and photographer. My interest as an artist is primarily in capturing the beauty and the sacredness of the world around me. My work has primarily focused on the simple artistry of nature, but I am also increasingly working with still lifes and portraiture.
