Her photos, descriptions and comments will make you think, laugh and want to respond with humor and thoughtfulness yourself. Before you know it, you're having a flickr conversation. "You know how sometimes you come into a house and right away you feel at home? That’s how I felt when I visited Char & Justin in 2007, like visiting old friends, even though Char and I somehow missed each other as co-eds at UCD. Through our mutual friendship with Serena, we have become good friends in mid-life, sharing photography, cooking and baking, and speaking (writing?) of many other subjects. I’m just glad that I was brave enough to ask Char when I needed someone to stay with in the East Bay. True to her generous character, she and Jus welcomed me and I think they enjoyed their weekend guest as much as I did being there. Many thanks, old friend. Phyll"
