"Okay I think it's time I wrote this girl a testimonial. I've been following her work since she started photography... The time she showed me some of her stuff on DeviantArt, it was a while ago but I was really impressed! I was also really honoured that she would come to me to ask about her photography and constructive criticism and everything. Well I'm not going to lie but we all know that we start off with those nature-y point-and-shoot quality shots but I really admired her attitude for change and improvement. I also remember telling her to get Flickr and how she wouldn't ever but that's another story... ;)
Then I guess I bugged her enough? Actually I didn't but she finally came on Flickr and I knew right away she was going to do some damage, especially when she announced that she'd start a 365! And I wasn't wrong at all. There is a kind of very positive energy about this girl through her photos and writing in the descriptions. I'll be honest with you - her brave attitude and how she started a 365 - that was really one of the big influences that pushed me to start one as well. Lately with her 20 secrets project, I was able to learn a bit more about Jessica and can I just say wow - right now I have so much respect for her and that's never going to change. I am completely honoured to have seen her drastic growth in photography the whole way and I have no doubt she will keep growing.
