"Michael is a ridiculously amazing creative person. Not just in photography either, but since this is flickr I'll stick with that :)
His photographs always give me inspiration, and new ideas to try out. All of his work is film, and done very inventively with whatever he can find and use. No tripod? Use a ladder. Want a grungy look? Here, let's look through this old Brownie Hawkeye and take pics.
The pictures he takes are resourceful and imaginative, and seem almost to be instinctive rather than carefully planned. Also, I must say, he uses film only, meaning he has to control shutter speed, aperture, and ISO all on his own. And he does a ridiculously good job of not over or underexposing his pictures.
And lastly, I am extremely glad to say I know him outside of the internet world as well, because he is just plain FUN to go take photos with. Whether inside jokes, or maybe even serious topics, going and shooting somewhere with his is a fantastically rad adventure. He gives good supportive critique without coming off as harsh. He's not afraid to be a bit foolish if it means getting a good picture. Oh and he likes Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream which is obviously the best flavor invented in the history of mankind. The end.
