Sydney, The Harbour City coffee table book

I have produced a softcover 100 page coffee table book featuring my favourite photos taken in Sydney. You can view the contents of this book and purchase a copy online.

If you are considering a copy, please note that you can select the "Perfect Bound, Photo Silk Paper, Scale to 9"x7" binding option as it is cheaper than the hard cover version.

FAQ
1. How do you get those little buddy icons to show up in your comment replies ?
I use this Flickr Buddy Icon Reply Greasemonkey script. This only works with Firefox.

2. How do you post-process your photos ?
Most of my photos have been tone mapped and then further post-processed in Photoshop. In Photoshop, I typically adjust the levels, contrast, saturation and sharpness.

3. Can you recommend some good sites to learn about HDR ?
Check out my HDR related bookmarks on del.icio.us.

4. How long have you been on Flickr ?
Answer right here.

5. What are your thoughts on the Tamron 18-250mm
It's a great travel lens providing a lot of reach for a very compact lens. Of course, you cannot compare it to a Canon L series lens. I do find that the shots are on the soft side, not super sharp but some post-sharpening seems to do the trick. I do find that it has a rather poor dynamic range, the whites tend to blow out more with this lens than with my previous Canon 17-85mm. But again, great for travelling.

6. Can you share any photography tips ?
My favourite photography book covers all the essential tips and techniques. I highly recommend it : Lonely Planet Travel Photography
