Growing steadily over the years, Chamberfest Ottawa 2011 presents almost 100 concerts, attracting over 80,000 listeners and is the largest chamber music festival of its kind in the world! Under the artistic leadership of the Gryphon Trio and its cellist Roman Borys, the Festival’s offerings include an eclectic Late Night series, Meet the Artist events, New Music Marathons, Young People’s concerts, outdoor interactive events, and of course strong programming of more traditional chamber music from Mozart to Schumann to Shostakovich, featuring the best artists from local Ottawa professionals to international names.
